Palisades Rain Jacket

A bit pretentious

An OK jacket. Nice that the seams are taped, so it should be well and truly waterproof. But what on earth is the purpose of a little sewn-in tab that says "Clarity is the ultimate currency"? What on earth does that string or words mean? And the enormous shoulder roundel with the letter "V"? (I had hoped that would peel off, but no such luck.) I suppose you could walk around town with your tribe, and preen in the rain. The real kicker was that all the pretentiousness came mixed with poor quality control - the jacket arrived with small grease stains on the cuff. I am hoping that they will come out in the wash, because I could not be bothered to return the item. Oh well, at least it was on sale. Next time I will go for a real Finnish company, not for a California company with Chinese-made goods and a Finnish name.

Very stylish rain coat

I like the look of the Palisades jacket and it fits well. I was very pleased with my purchase until I showed it to my wife, who got mad and pulled out her identical Palisades jacket. She said no matching raincoats so I returned my coat.

Great rain jacket!

Love the look and feel of this jacket. It’s just the right length and has plenty of pockets for that stylish look. The color leans more red. Only comment is that it’s a regular fit and may read as boxy for those who are slim build, like me!

Comfortable, Fits Great, nice color. Covers my bum :-)

Perfect fit and style

This rain jacket was the perfect fit! 5’9” 170lbs male typical size between medium and large. Fit like a glove with enough room for an under layer. Debated buying a jacket from a nicer outdoor company, but went with this one out of overall style.
